Role Overview
Oversee day-to-day drilling and workover rig operations on high-stakes client sites (ONGC / Vedanta), ensuring zero downtime and stringent API safety adherence.
Primary Responsibilities
What You Will Lead & Deliver
- Supervise daily drilling, tripping, casing, cementing, and well intervention activities.
- Manage drilling crew shifts, toolpusher coordination, and rig mast maintenance protocols.
- Ensure compliance with well control procedures and maintain API standard BOP readiness.
- Liaise directly with client company representatives and production managers for job execution.
Qualifications & Experience
Profile & Technical Requirements
- Degree or Diploma in Petroleum Engineering / Mechanical Engineering.
- Valid IWCF / IADC Well Control Certificate (Level 4 Supervisor Level).
- Hands-on experience on 1000HP - 2000HP drilling rigs and 50T - 100T workover rigs.
- Impeccable safety record with demonstrated field leadership under high-pressure conditions.
